The New Zealand Association of Clinical Research (NZACRes) was established in 2004 as a non-profit organisation to foster and promote clinical research and as the professional association for clinical researchers in New Zealand. NZACRes organises events, encouraging networking opportunities amongst our peers and brings together members of the clinical research community, to discuss issues and create collaborative solutions for our industry. We have published standard agreements for use in New Zealand including the standard Indemnity and Compensation Agreement and the standard Clinical Trial Research Agreement. Membership is open to any individual who has an interest in clinical research.
The Bioenergy Association of New Zealand (BANZ) – BANZ was established in 2001 to promote and coordinate the development of a bioenergy industry in New Zealand. BANZ provides a central focus point for liaison with Government agencies, the dissemination of information amongst the industry and long-term positioning of bioenergy into New Zealand’s energy system. BANZ has over 300 hundred members working across the length and breadth of the various supply chains. Members include anyone with a commercial interest in bioenergy – sawmillers, wood processors, energy suppliers, energy researchers, consultants, manufacturers and investors. BANZ provides a central focus point for liaison with Government agencies, the dissemination of information amongst the industry and long-term positioning of bioenergy into New Zealand’s energy system. BANZ works closely with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise to promote bioenergy opportunities , skills and resources in New Zealand. BANZ has four technical Interest Groups which enable Members to focus on their key areas: Liquid Biofuels, Wood Pellets, Biogas, and Wood Fuel. BANZ facilitates learning and development opportunities for Members and those with an interest in bioenergy generally. The Association develops resources, facilitates workshops and events for networking and represents Members views on a national and international stage

Its core objectives include the promotion of the industry and the asset class on both a domestic and international basis and working to create a world-class venture capital and private equity environment.
