NZBIO would like to thank its Waikato Regional Partner:
NZBIO is a member driven organisation helping to build New Zealand's biotechnology sector. NZBIO members have the opportunity to be directly involved in shaping the industry through taking part in NZBIO activities.
The Waikato region is known for its agbio, agri, food and clean technology companies. The region also boasts important research centres at Ruakura (Hamilton) and Rotorua.
In the Waikato, NZBIO is developing events focussed on specific areas of interest. These include:
CEO Breakfasts – Held quarterly with high calibre guest speakers. Supported by NZBIO’s national sponsor Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Research Management Group Workshops – This group meets regularly and involves the regions’ Commercial Managers, Research Directors, Technology and IP Managers.
Networking events – for all interested parties.
We also host and promote one-off events such as the Meet the Biotech Students Poster event which is held in May every year.
The Waikato regional branch receives significant sponsorship from WaikatoLink, the commercialisation and technology transfer company of the University of Waikato.
