115 jobs to come from new Mackay bio-refinery

CONSTRUCTION of a $50million bio-refinery plant in Mackay is expected to start in early 2018 after it was announced by company executive John Lockhart on Friday at the end of a windy dirt road at Eton.

At the end of that road was the reason Bio Processing Australia chose Mackay to build its plants – a cane farm where the grower used soy beans as part of their fallow rotations.
